Photo to Sketch Conversion: How It Works
AKVIS Sketch is software for conversion of photos to pencil drawings. It's a wonderful tool for those who have always wanted to draw but didn't know how.
The software offers these photo to sketch conversion styles: Classic, Artistic, Maestro, and Multistyle, - each with a series of presets and with the possibility to create a wide variety of pencil drawings for every taste.
You can also achieve additional effects on the Background tab (Sketch & Photo, Sketch & Blur). Keep a part of the initial image to imitate a blend of the original photo and the drawing, blur some parts of the image.
As a final touch, apply the Decoration effects. Personalize your drawing by adding an inscription. Add a rough surface to your image, as if it has been drawn on canvas, corrugated paper, etc. Apply a frame to create a real piece of art.
The software can work independently as a standalone program as well as a plug-in to a photo editor.
