History Palette Tips

The History Palette in Adobe Photoshop is an efficient tool that allows you to undo/redo multiple states of an image.

But this tool is not so simple as it looks.

Our tips will help you to work with the History palette efficiently.

 

You can change the number of steps saved in the History palette during the session.

Go to Edit => Preferences => General or just press the keys Ctrl (Mac: Cmd) + K on the keyboard.

You will see the Preferences window (see below). The number of states by default is 20, but you can set as many states as you like.
