Underexposed Photo

The author of the example is Catherine Schulthies. She took a photo of her husband eating gelato in Italy.

Unfortunately, the picture got underexposed. Catherine applied AKVIS Enhancer in Improve Detail mode to correct the photo and improve the level of detail.

Just open the image in the program and adjust the parameters to brighten it up.
