Snowy windserfing
This tutorial is created in Adobe Photoshop but you can use any photo editor compatible with AKVIS Chameleon
- Step 1. Open an image with the snowboarders.
- Step 2. Select the object with any selection tool (Lasso, for example). The selection does not have to be precise.
Call AKVIS -> Chameleon – Grab Fragment from the Filter menu of the photo editor to save the fragment into the clipboard. You will see a message saying that the fragment has been saved.
- Step 3. Open the background image.
- Step 4. Select the command Filter –> AKVIS –> Chameleon – Make Collage. AKVIS Chameleon plugin will open and you will see the background image and the fragment over it.
By default the Montage mode is active. We continue working in this mode.
- Step 5. Select the Transform tool in the Toolbox and adjust the position of the snowborders on the background.
- Step 6. Select the Drop Area Tool and Keep Area Tool draw the outlines as shown below.
- Step 7. Click on the button
to start the process of collage creation. The result will be shown in the After tab. You can switch between the tabs using the button Tab.
If you are not satisfied with the result, switch to Before tab and draw the contours more accurately. Then press the button again.
- Step 8. Click on
to apply the result and close the plugin window and see our collage.
