Collage with a girl
The example was made in the old version of the Chameleon plug-in.
Now the technique of using AKVIS Chameleon is different, but the
result will be the same.
Consult the article "Chameleon mode" to get the same result with the new version. In the older versions (before v.5.0) this mode was
called Standard and applied automatically right after you launch the
plugin from the menu Filter.
The photo collage has been created by Gun Legler in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.

She used an image of a girl and a colorful background to create a photo collage.
- Step 1. Open the image of the girl in Jasc Paint Shop Pro.
- Step 2. Select the girl. The easiest way is to select the grey background by using Magic wand and invert the selection. To make the selection process easier, you can call the command Selection-Modify-Select Similar.
- Step 3. Copy the selection and paste the selected object into a new layer of the colorful background and change the size and position of the girl using the Move Tool.
- Step 4. Then apply Magic wand to select the background and inverse the selection. As a result, the girl will be selected.
- Step 5. Merge layers (Layer -> Merge -> Merge all) without removing the selection.
- Step 6. Start AKVIS Chameleon.
- Step 7. Touch up the borders of the pasted fragment using Soften Tool with a small size brush (without removing the selection).
