Image Correction

The parameters in the Correction tab in AKVIS MakeUp offer additional ways of image processing. They affect the entire picture. You can adjust these standard settings to improve the photo:

• Sharpness (-50 to 50) adjusts the clarity of the image by changing the contrast of adjacent pixels. Values in the negative range smoothen the image while values in the postive range sharpen it.

• Brightness (-100 to 100) affects how the image is illuminated. At higher values the image is brighter while at lower values it is darker.

• Contrast (-50 to 50) increases (at values greater than 0) or decreases (at values less than 0) the difference between light and dark areas of the image.
  
  Contrast = -50

  
  Contrast = 35
• Hue (-100 to 100) is used to change the color tone.
  
  Hue = -20

  
  Hue = 20
• Saturation (-100 to 100) changes the intensity of color from a neutral gray to the brightest color.
  
  Saturation = -50

  
  Saturation = 50
