May 22, 2018 — AKVIS announces HDRFactory 6.0, a real workshop for the production of fascinating HDR images. The recent version offers the new Pin Tool that lets you refine the result on certain areas. Also, the software provides the improved HDRI mode, the enhanced Vignette option, various interface improvements, and other changes.
Unlike the human eye, digital camera sensors can only capture a limited dynamic range of a scene. The idea of HDR is to extend the dynamic range in a photo and thus make the image relate more to what the eye actually sees.
AKVIS HDRFactory lets you create an HDR image from a series of shots or from one single photo. It is possible to produce a realistic effect by enhancing the overall quality of the image or achieve an illustrative look with an extraordinary level of detail and depth. Also, the program allows users to refine the result on certain areas and get rid of so-called "ghosts" that sometimes appear when creating an HDR image. From bringing to life a flat shot to creating a stylized post-apocalyptic scene - the software makes any photo look breathtaking!
Version 6.0 offers an alternative tool for local image correction - Pin Tool. It allows users to place pins on the image and thus select areas for additional processing.
The process of creating HDR images has been improved. The brightness of edges of aligned images is now automatically adjusted.
The Vignette option now offers the new Position parameter that allows users to place the vignette center point anywhere on the image.
Also, the new version offers the Chinese interface language, full compatibility with Photoshop CC 2018, new Gray interface theme, support for new RAW files, and some other improvements and bug fixes.
Download AKVIS HDRFactory 6.0 and try all features of the software during the 10-day trial period.
The software runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10; Mac OS X 10.7-10.11 and macOS 10.12-10.13. The product is available as a standalone application and as a plugin filter for AliveColors, Adobe Photoshop and other image editors.
AKVIS HDRFactory, Home license, sells for $69. One license key allows activating and using the software on two computers. Consult the official website for more details about license types and prices of the software.
The update is free for users who bought HDRFactory in the last 12 months. Users, whose license is older and is not valid for the new version, can get HDRFactory 6.0 for only $14.95.
