AKVIS Points 3.0 offers major feature enhancements allowing one to experiment with appearance of strokes. In Version 3.0:
- Enhanced Pointillism Effect
The new version provides users with greater control over the pointillism effect enabling one to play with color, volume, and shape of strokes.
The Pointillist Brush now offers more parameters that allow you to fine-tune the tool's behavior.
- Interface Modes
Version 3.0 lets you switch between two interface modes: Express and Advanced.
The Express mode offers simplified functionality for those who want to achieve rapid results by adjusting a couple of setting.
The Advanced mode includes all the features and is intended for users with prior knowledge of the software capabilities.
- New Presets
Some ready-to-use presets from the previous version have been modified in order to reflect the new functionality. Also, the program includes a number of brand new presets.
- Compatibility with Photoshop CC 2017
The plugin version is fully compatible with Photoshop CC 2017. It automatically appears in the Filter menu after installing the program.
Note: It is recommended to uninstall the older version before installing the new one.
- Also in the new version:
- added support for more RAW files;
- fixed minor bugs,
- and other changes.
Version 3.1 provides some bug fixes and minor improvements.
Version 3.5 is fully compatible with Photoshop CC 2018. The program offers the new Gray interface theme and some other interface improvements. Additionally, the software provides support for more RAW files and minor bug fixes.
Upgrade Information:
It is a free upgrade for recent buyers of Points who bought or upgraded this program during the last 12 months. Your key will work with the new version. Just download and install the software. You may need to re-activate the program using your old license key.
