AKVIS Charcoal 2.0 includes a new Decoration tab which allows you to add stylish frames to the processed images. The redesigned user interface with support for Ultra HD displays and new presets maximize the usability of the software. Improve your productivity with the new features!
In Version 2.0:
- New Decoration Effects
The new Decoration section offers three effects: Canvas, Text, and (NEW!) Frame. Using the new option you can easily decorate your masterpiece with a stunning photo frame. You can choose between the following styles: Classic, Pattern, Strokes, Vignette, or Passe-Partout. Each group includes a wide range of frames to fit any taste.
- New Presets
The new version expands the list of built-in presets allowing you to find the perfect solution for any photo.
- Support for 4K & 5K Displays
The new version brings support for Ultra HD resolution. The texts and new vector based icons now scale correctly on 4K & 5K displays.
- Enhanced Print Options
It's now possible to print high resolution images on multiple pages to create super quality posters.
- Also in the new version:
- improved the Crop tool with the possibility to set the aspect ratio,
- added the possibility to choose a drive to install the program,
- fixed minor bugs,
- and other changes.
Version 2.1 provides some bug fixes and minor improvements.
Version 2.5 is fully compatible with Photoshop CC 2018. The program offers the new Gray interface theme and some other interface improvements. Additionally, the software provides support for more RAW files and minor bug fixes.
Upgrade Information:
It is a free upgrade for recent buyers of Charcoal who bought or upgraded this program during the last 12 months. Your key will work with the new version. Just install and re-activate the software.
