Try on a tattoo You would like to make a tattoo, but you are not sure it will suit you? It's easy to try on a tattoo without resorting to a trip to the tattoo parlor. Below you will find instructions on how to do it with AKVIS Chameleon.
- Step 1. Open the photo of the girls in Adobe Photoshop.
Here is a photo with a tattoo.
- Step 2. Select the tattoo using the Lasso tool, copy the selection using the command Edit -> Copy or pressing the key combination Ctrl+C (Command+C for Macintosh).
- Step 3. Paste the selected tattoo into the photo of the girls. For this purpose you should call the command Edit -> Paste or press the key combination Ctrl+V (Command+V for Macintosh).
In the present example we pasted the tattoo three times, so that every girl could try it on.
Having pasted the tattoo, you should use the Move tool to position the tattoo on the arm. You may need to adjust its size and position, rotate or mirror it. Use the command Edit -> Free Transform to do the changes.
- Step 4. As long as we pasted every tattoo into separate layers, you should merge the layers with the tattoos before you call AKVIS Chameleon.
To merge the layers you should activate the highest layer with the tattoo in the Layers palette and in the two lower layers you should click on the second column on the left. As a result, you will see an icon of a chain near these two layers.
Now we select the command Merge Linked in the menu item Layer and the three layers with the tattoos merge into one.
- Step 5. Now, you call the AKVIS Chameleon plug-in from the menu Filter.
