Tutorial: AKVIS Enhancer (Enhancer)
Orthodox Chapel
We use the Enhancer plugin in this tutorial, but you can take the standalone edition and use the same parameters to achieve this result.
- Step 1. Open the image in your photo editor. The automatic exposure settings did a bad job. As a result, the image contrast is poor, the colors have a grayish tint and the trees look too dark.
- Step 2. Call the AKVIS Enhancer plugin. To this effect select the command Filter - AKVIS - Enhancer in Adobe Photoshop; the menu item Effects - Plugins- AKVIS - Enhancer if you work with Corel PaintShop Pro; or Effects - AKVIS - Enhancer if you use Corel Photo-Paint.
You will see the AKVIS Enhancer window with the photo processed at default parameter values.
Even after the initial correction the photo looks better.
- Step 3. We increase the value of the parameter Shadows to 80. As a result, we see more details in the dark sky.
- Step 4. Press the button
to apply the result of the photo correction and close the plugin window.
After the application of AKVIS Enhancer the grayish tint disappeared, the colors became purer, trees became visible, and the clouds appeared more dramatic.
