When shooting an object or a landscape at a distance, you may notice that the picture has a kind of a haze. You can improve such photos using AKVIS Enhancer. It will improve the level of detail, enhance local contrast and breathe life into this "flat" picture.

We use the plugin version in this tutorial, but you can take the standalone edition and use the same parameters to achieve this result.
Step 1. Open the image in your photo editor which supports the Enhancer plugin, for example Photoshop (or in the Enhancer program if you use the standalone edition).
Step 2. To call AKVIS Enhancer plugin select the command Filter - AKVIS - Enhancer in Adobe Photoshop; the menu item Effects - Plugins- AKVIS - Enhancer if you work with Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo; or Effects - AKVIS - Enhancer if you use Corel Photo-Paint.
Step 3. In Improve Detail mode we increase the values in both Shadows and Highlights. It will help us to reveal details in dark and in light areas at the same time.
As a result the photo has become sharper and more contrasting.
Step 4. Press the button to apply the result of the photo correction and close the plugin window.
If you use the standalone edition of AKVIS Enhancer just save the improved photo.
