Installing And Registering Frame Packs

A free set of frames is included in AKVIS ArtSuite. Also, can also download additional themed frame packs (for example, a wedding frame pack, frames with a travel or vacation theme, etc.).

You can purchase a license for a frame pack through AKVIS's online store.

To order a frame pack go to the frame pack page, where you will see all available frame packs.

Each pack is fully repsented as thumbnails. Upon visiting a frame pack's page (for example, the "Wedding Pack"), you can see all of the frames you would be interested in. Therefore, you won't be buying a "pig in a poke", but rather the frames that you need.

You will also find direct links to purchase frame packs.

After an order has been paid, a link to the frame pack as a .zip will be sent (for example, WeddingPack.zip) along with a license number for registering the pack.

How to install a frame pack in ArtSuite:

The .zip file should be copied to a folder which has been selected in ArtSuite's program settings. By default, this is the AKVIS folder in the Shared Documents folder, but you can choose another folder.

After this the frames in this pack will be visible in the Library's list of hand painted frames.

In the settings panel's drop-down list select: Frames - Hand Painted, switch to the Library (by double clicking on the currently selected frame), and you will see all of your frame packs in a list.

Default Pack - these frames are included for free with the program and do not require registration to use.

Purchased frame packs must be registered with a license number (registration code). Only after this has been done is it possible to use the frames with the program.

Follow these steps to register a frame pack.

Choose the frame pack in the Library and click on Activate at the bottom of the list.
The activation window will open. Enter the name to which the pack will be registered, as well as the unique license number (registration key) you received after purchasing the pack.
Choose an activation method — by direct connection to the activation server or by email. We recommend registering by direct connection, since it is more convenient. To register using this method your computer must be connected to the internet.
Click on the Activate button.
