We use the AKVIS Enhancer plugin in this tutorial, but you can take the standalone edition and use the same parameters to achive this result.
- Step 1. Open the image in your photo editor.
- Step 2. Call the AKVIS Enhancer plugin. To this effect select the command Filter - AKVIS - Enhancer in Adobe Photoshop; the menu item Effects - Plugins- AKVIS - Enhancer if you work with Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo; or Effects - AKVIS - Enhancer if you use Corel Photo-Paint.
- Step 3. Select the Improve Detail mode.
You will see the AKVIS Enhancer window with the photo processed at default parameter values.
- Step 4. Adjust the Improve Detail settings:
Increase the value of the parameter Level of Detail to 8.
To reveal more details in the light areas of the picture (white clouds, the ground) increase the value of the parameter Highlights to 70.
Decrease the value of the parameter Lightness.
- Step 6. Press the button
 to apply the result of the photo correction and close the plugin window.
