  • Step 1. Open the image in any graphics editor. The charm and simplicity of the image of two young ballerinas inspired the author to choose the oil technique.

  • Step 2. Call the AKVIS ArtWork plug-in (Filter –> AKVIS –> ArtWork from the menu). Select Oil from the list of styles in the Settings Panel. Set some guiding lines with the Stroke Direction tool.

  • Step 3. Use the Preview Window to adjust the strokes' parameters:

  • Step 4. AKVIS ArtWork lets you imitate painting on a canvas. To use this option, adjust the settings in the Canvas tab:

  • Step 5. Press to process the image and to apply the result.
