You can colorize this photo yourself using the half-finished materials that we give you. Download an archive containing the original image and the file with the strokes (*.strokes). Read the instruction here to see how AKVIS Coloriage works.
The photo for this example has been taken from the photo archives about Canadian settlers. We will try to imagine the life of the settlers "in color".
Step 1. Open the image in your photo editor.
Step 2. Call the AKVIS Coloriage plug-in. For this purpose in Adobe Photoshop select the menu item Filter – AKVIS – Coloriage; in Corel PHOTO-PAINT - select the menu item Effects – AKVIS – Coloriage.
Step 3. Set the color for every object on the photo. For this purpose we will select colors from the Colors palette and from the Color library and draw an outline within the objects following their boundaries.
For the grass we will set several colors and not only outline them but also make strokes inside of them. We will see something like that:
Step 4. Press the button to start the process of colorization. The result of the colorization will be shown in the After tab.
Step 5. Press the button to apply the colorization result and close the plugin window.
