Light Effects Elements: Light Beams

The Light Beams element represents a set of glowing lines intersecting at one point.

You can transform the light effect using the tool . In the Element Properties panel you can change the Position & Size and Color for the element.

You can also adjust the special parameters of Light Beams:

• Lines (2-100). The parameter defines the number of lines in the element.
  
  Lines = 5

  
  Lines = 25
• Random Length (0-100). This parameter specifies the lines length range. At the minimum value the length of all lines is the same (maximum). Increasing the parameter increases the range of length of the lines in the element.
  
  Random Length = 5

  
  Random Length = 50
• Random Angle. If the check-box is disabled the angles between the rays are the same, if it is enabled they can randomly vary.
  
  Check-box is disabled

  
  Check-box is enabled
• Halo Width (1-100). Increasing the value of the parameter increases the area of the halo around the element.
  
  Halo Width = 10

  
  Halo Width = 50
• Strength (5-75). The parameter changes the brightness of the halo and affects the softness of the element's edges.
  
  Strength = 5

  
  Strength = 50
• Random Seed (0-999). This is the starting number for the random number generator that defines the distribution of lines in the element. It can be any number between 0 and 999; every number produces a unique distribution of lines.
