Fabulous Cloud Figures

You can admire the clouds in the sky for hours. The AKVIS NatureArt program easily stylizes the image into beautiful cloud figures.

We used the NatureArt plugin and the AliveColors graphics editor.

• Step 1. Open an image and apply one of the contrasting artistic effects in AliveColors. You can use the Linocut effect (Effects -> Linocut) or the Stencil effect (Effects -> Stencil). The result is a simplified black and white image that can be used as an auxiliary image.
  
• Step 2. Select an object (for example, using the Magic Wand tool ) and call the plugin: Effects -> AKVIS -> NatureArt.

  The selection will be transferred to the NatureArt plugin. Save it into a file with the .nature extension using and close the plugin without applying the effect.

  
• Step 3. Reset the selection using the Ctrl+D command. In the Layers panel, create a new raster layer with . Using the Paint Bucket tool fill the layer with blue. This will be our sky.
  
• Step 4. While being on the blue layer, call the AKVIS NatureArt plugin again. In the list of Effects, select Clouds. Load the saved selection (.nature) using .
  
• Step 5. Adjust the effect parameters and run image processing .
  
• Step 6. If you are satisfied with the result, apply it by clicking . You can expand the edges of the canvas with the Image -> Canvas Size command so that the clouds are in the center, and edit the edges using the Color Brush .
  
• Step 7. Save the image: File -> Save As.
