Interior Design: Painting from Rendering

This time we worked on interior design. I wanted to add some nice images to my portfolio. The renderings created in Revit looked stiff and unpleasant, so I decided to replace them with hand drawings and to save time using the superb software AKVIS ArtWork.

• Step 1. The original image of the kitchen was designed in Autodesk Revit Architecture:

  After rendering in Revit, and some lightness correction in Revit:

• Step 2. Open the image in AKVIS ArtWork, choose Pastel from the list of styles and AKVIS Oil Pastel from the list of presets. Press to process the image.

• Step 3. I pasted two girls with the Xara X software, and made them translucent.

• Step 4. Return to ArtWork. This time I've transformed the picture with Pastel and a canvas texture - as shown below:
