Here is yet another tutorial for AKVIS ArtWork from the famous photographer Lisa Jane (USA). Lisa sent a photo which is reminiscent of paintings of ballerinas by Edgar Degas.
Step 1. Open the image in any graphics editor. The charm and simplicity of the image of two young ballerinas inspired the author to choose the oil technique.

Step 2. Call the AKVIS ArtWork plug-in (Effects –> AKVIS –> ArtWork from the menu). Select Oil from the list of styles in the Settings Panel. Set some guiding lines with the Stroke Direction tool.

Step 3. Use the quick preview window to adjust the strokes' parameters:

Step 4.AKVIS ArtWork lets you imitate painting on a canvas. To use this option, adjust the settings in the Canvas tab:

Step 5. Press to process the image and to apply the result.
