Step 1. Open the original photo of a night town in your image editing software.
Shooting with automatic settings at night doesn't produce good results. At dusk the streets of the town are already gloomy, while the sky still glows with the last rays of the sun. The automatic settings focus on the sky, as a result the other parts of the shot are too dark.
Step 2. Call AKVIS Enhancer plugin. To this effect select the command Filter - AKVIS - Enhancer in Adobe Photoshop; the menu item Effects - Plugins- AKVIS - Enhancer if you work with Jasc Paint Shop Pro; or Effects - AKVIS - Enhancer if you use Corel PHOTO-PAINT.
Step 3. Adjust the parameters Level of Detail, Highlight/Shadow priority and Intensity. We set the following values for the parameters: Level of Detail 40, Highlight/Shadow priority 70, Intensity 60.
Step 4. Press the button in the Toolbar to apply the result of the photo correction and close the plugin window.
