Changing image resolution in Paint Shop Pro


 

To change the image resolution in PSP follow the instructions:

  • Step 1. Select the command Resize from the menu Image to call the Resize dialog box.
  • Resize dialog box in Paintshop pro
  • Step 2. Deactivate the check-box Resample using, if you want to keep the total amount of pixels in the image when changing the resolution. In this case the width and the height will change in such a way that the total amount of pixels will stay the same.
  • Step 3. In the group Pixel Dimensions enter a new value into the field Resolution.
  • Step 4. Press the button OK.
