AKVIS SmartMask AI allows you to quickly select an object in an image. Version 14 offers the updated AI-powered selection tools with a re-trained neural network, the enhanced Refine Edges feature, as well as a number of improvements and fixes.

In Version 14.0:
- New AI-Powered Object Selection Algorithm
The update includes the new neural network for AI-based selection tools. The software works faster and provides a superior result. Make quick selections easy as pie!
- Enhanced Refine Edges Feature
The Refine Edges mode is extremely helpful for fine-tuning selections. Now, it includes refinement tools and allows you to edit selection edges even more accurately and precisely.
- Also, in the new version:
- Changed the neural network framework: from TensorFlow to ONNX Runtime.
- Added support for DirectML on Windows. Now, the program works with AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Added support for CoreML on Macs.
- Discontinued support for Windows 7-8 and for macOS 10.12-10.14. See the list of supported operating systems.
- Improved user interface and updated the tools icons.
- Added support for the TGA format.
- Fixed bugs and improved program stability.
In Version 14.1:
- - New improved interface. The program now offers three interface styles: Dark, Gray, and Light.
- Redesign of the program's Preferences: the hotkeys are now located in a separate tab.
- Added support for macOS 26 Tahoe.
