Tutorial: AKVIS Stamp

Removing facial shine

  • Step 1. Open the following picture of two girls in your photo editor:

  • Step 2. Select the plugin AKVIS Stamp. In Adobe Photoshop, you should select the menu item Filter - AKVIS - Stamp, in Jasc Paint Shop Pro - the menu item Effects - Plugins- AKVIS - Stamp; and in Corel PHOTO-PAINT - Effects - AKVIS - Stamp.
  • Step 3. Select the Stamp tool from the Toolbar pressing the button Stamp and adjust the size of the stamp.
  • Step 4. Deactivate the check box Aligned so that every time you apply the stamp the pattern is taken from one and the same starting point.
  • Step 5. Press the ALT key and use the left mouse button to specify the pattern on the face that doesn't have greasy shine. You can also sample a pattern on the neck or decollete.

  • Step 6. Put the cursor to the forehead of the girl in red and apply the cloned pattern to the greasy shine.

    As soon as you release the button, the cloned object adjusts to the color of the original image.

  • Step 7. We will process the cheeks and the chin of the girl in red in the same way. Then we will proceed to the second girl.
  • Step 8. Press the button Ok in the Toolbar to apply the result and close the plugin window.
