System Requirements for AI Programs
The AKVIS programs with AI allow efficiently and quickly process images thanks to improved algorithms based on neural networks.
System Requirements
To take full advantage of all AI functionality, the computer must meet the following conditions:
- a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system;
- an NVIDIA graphics card with CUDA Compute Capability 3.5+;
- the latest driver for the graphics card should be installed.
Attention! With an inappropriate graphics card or an outdated driver, the processing will be performed by the CPU which will take much longer.
Installing Drivers for Your Video Card
Go to the NVIDIA website, to the drivers' download page.
Specify your video card and operating system version in the table and click SEARCH.
On the next page, download the driver by clicking DOWNLOAD.
After the download is complete, run the file and install the driver.
Launching The Program
When you first run a program with AI, it may take time to configure. During the program configuration, the title of the program window will display CPU, initializing CUDA... At this time, processing takes place in the processor's memory, so it is better to wait for the configuration to complete.
After completing the configuration, the title of the program will display CUDA.
If the graphics card is inappropriate for AI or an outdated video driver is installed, the program title will show CPU.
After successfully fulfilling these conditions, you can enjoy all the power and benefits of artificial intelligence.
