May 14, 2019 — AKVIS announces the release of MakeUp 6.5, a powerful portrait retouching software. Version 6.5 offers the new Keep Colors feature in the Tone Mask section, provides support for more RAW files, brings some stability improvements and bug fixes.
AKVIS MakeUp is designed to retouch portraits to perfection. It automatically removes wrinkles, blemishes, and other imperfections from portrait shots giving the skin a flawless yet natural look. The software softens the shadows and makes the face appear younger. AKVIS MakeUp works in two modes: Express (for performing corrections with one single mouse click) and Advanced (for more sophisticated image manipulation). Other remarkable benefit is the Batch Processing feature that allows applying the same settings to a series of images.
Version 6.5 includes the new Keep Colors check-box that allows users to preserve the colors manually selected for the Tone Mask. When the check-box is enabled, the effect parameters are applied to the manually created skin tone mask. Additionally, the Manual mode is now automatically enabled when manually selecting mask colors.
Also, the recent version provides support for new RAW files, increased program's stability, and some bug fixes.
Download AKVIS MakeUp 6.5 and try all features of the software during the 10-day trial period.
The software runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 - 32-bit, 64-bit; Mac OS X 10.11 and macOS 10.12-10.14 - 64-bit. The product is available as a standalone application and as a plugin filter for AliveColors, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Photo-Paint, and other image editors.
AKVIS MakeUp, Home license, sells for $39. One license key allows activating and using the software on two computers. Consult the official website for more details about license types and prices of the software.
The update is free for users who bought MakeUp in the last 12 months. Users, whose license is older and is not valid for the new version, can get MakeUp 6.5 for only $14.95.
