July 19, 2017 — AKVIS announces the release of AKVIS Watercolor 2.0, the powerful software for imitating different watercolor techniques. Version 2.0 opens up new artistic horizons by adding the Abstract Art tab and new built-in presets.
AKVIS Watercolor turns digital photos into masterful aquarelle paintings. The software offers the wide range of settings and tools giving users immense control over the generated strokes and every single detail. Using the Decoration options it is possible to personalize the resulting painting with a signature, canvas surface, or a unique picture frame.
Version 2.0 offers the new Abstract Art tab that allows adding bright accents to an image, adjusting its overall tonal range, and experimenting with shapes of objects.
The new version provides users with a number of additional ready-to-use presets that can be applied to any photo with just one click.
Also, some minor bugs have been fixed.

The software runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10; and on Mac OS X 10.7-10.11 and macOS 10.12. The product is available as a standalone application and as a plugin to photo editors: AliveColors by AKVIS, Adobe Photoshop, and others.
AKVIS Watercolor 2.0 Home sells for $49, Deluxe for $69, Business for $89. One license key allows activating and using the software on two computers.
The upgrade is free for all registered users of the program.
