Version 8.0 adds support for GPU (graphical processing unit) acceleration has been added, which significantly speeds up image processing. Due to added support for GPU (graphical processing unit) acceleration, images can be processed significantly more quickly. This new option (in the program's Preferences) is only active if a computer has an appropriate video card. The image processing speed depends directly on a video card.
Working with the plugin version of AKVIS Coloriage is now even easier. A selection made in the graphics editor will be transferred to the plugin and displayed as the outline made with the Keep Color Pencil.
Also new to Version 8.0 is improved support for Mac OS X Lion, the addition of the list of Recent Files which is visible by right mouse clicking on the Open Image button, and the new OS File dialog for loading and saving files.
