December 24, 2014 — AKVIS announces the release of AKVIS SmartMask V.6.0 for Windows and Mac OS X. The software turns a time-consuming task of selecting a specific area of an image into a simple and fun process. The new version fixes bugs and adds more flexibility.
AKVIS SmartMask has been updated to version 6.0!
The software is available as a standalone program and as plugin for Photoshop and other image editors, for Windows and Mac OS X.

- Added the possibility to drag the splitter between the before and after states (Original and Processing tabs).

- Added the new dark interface theme. It's possible to switch between the styles in the program preferences.
- Fixed some bugs and interface glitches.
- Extended the list of supported RAW files.
- Added official support for the new Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
